Roe v. Wade Overturned!

As many of you have heard, Roe v. Wade has been overturned! The Supreme Court clarified that each state has the right to set its own limitations (or no limitations) on abortion at whatever stage of pregnancy it so chooses. In the coming weeks, we can expect to see certain states restrict or even ban abortion completely. To that point, many states are already doing just that! Unfortunately, New York (among others) will not be one of those states, now or any time soon. This is why the fight is not over. So, definitely celebrate and thank God for this victory, but still stay as strong and active as ever in the Pro-Life movement! New York’s stance on abortion is the same as yesterday, but hopefully with time and hard work we can change that. Even those who do not have time to volunteer for activities or money to donate to the cause have a part to play in the Pro-Life movement. If you have not done so already, I encourage you to set aside some time to educate yourself on the issue of abortion. In this way, whenever the subject comes up with family, friends, or strangers, you will have the knowledge necessary to defend the Pro-Life position. It is by educating and praying that we will ultimately abolish abortion.
